Present: Tim Padfield, Gary Cattermole, Mark Padfield, Mick Padfield, Bill Browning,
Apologies: Darren Herbert, Paul Padfield, John Wheeler
AGENDA ITEM 1- Gary to send an e-mail out to the members who are booked on the coach for the Spurs game to advise them of pick up times at Dover and Maidstone. So far 34 people are booked to travel.
ITEM 2 – Mick informed the meeting that he has collected 26 prizes for this year’s dinner. It was felt that this was probably too many so he will cut it down to 20 and keep the remaining for next season. Gary informed the meeting that there is still no sign of the Champions League T-Shirt that he sent off to Jill Smith for Thierry Henry to sign. Jill has suggested that she may send a letter down and inform the winner that the prize will arrive late. An e-mail is to be sent out to members reminding them that the dinner is 1300 for 1330 start.
ITEM 3 – The club funds currently stand at £1741.60. But there is about £940 to take off, but still about £190 to collect.
ITEM 4 – A stadium tour was proposed and it was suggested that Jill Smith be contacted to see if we could arrange on for 20th April and to find out the cost for members and if there is any limit on numbers.
ITEM 5 – Gary informed the meeting the system of people send blank cheques for tickets at the start of each month was working very well. He suggested that consideration be given to this being made part of the club rules for next season.
ITEM 6 – Mick told the meeting that in future we may have to consider how we deal with merchandise orders from the club, due to the fact that we have now been informed that all order, must in future, be one bulk order. This will mean far more work for Mick and others to sort it all out and bag up before people collect.
